Welcome to CSM exam
testing strategies. After watching this
video you'll be able to, identify Certified Scrum Master or CSM testing strategies, list guidelines on how
to attempt questions. There are proven strategies to adopt in preparing
for the CSM exam. The following is a list
of recommendations, the Scrum Alliance outlines seven specific domains where you must demonstrate knowledge. Assume all questions on the
test apply to these domains. You will generally
get an email from Scrum Alliance with
the link to take the test within 48 hours of completing the mandatory
training class. It is common to receive e mails the same day you
complete the class. You have 90 days to take the test from the day that
you receive the link. If you fail to test at the time, you will have to
retake the CSM class. Questions are straightforward
and knowledge based. They are multiple choice
with one correct answer. The exam is an open book test, read the entire question
carefully before responding. Identify the exact question, which may include extraneous
information to distract you. In most cases, the last sentence shares the required response. There are 50 questions, you have one hour to
answer all the questions, or 1.2 minutes per question. All questions have
the same weightage. On your first attempt, answer
all the easy questions, thus gaining valuable points
and building confidence. Bookmark difficult questions
and then go back to them. Give yourself a mental break. For example, reward
yourself with a one minute mental break after 25 questions, think
happy thoughts. Take a deep breath or two smile, envision yourself to
receive a passing score. You will receive your results immediately upon
completing the test. Do not spend extra time
on difficult questions. Bookmark the question
and move on, If you do not know
the answer guess, do not leave a
question unanswered. If you do not pass the test
on your first attempt, you will have one free retry. You will receive
remediation feedback on which questions you did
not attempt correctly. You must complete the retry within 90 days of
taking the class. If you do not pass
the second attempt, you can retake the
test for $25 fee. Try to take as many
practice tests as you can. Time yourself and try to average
one minute per question. If required that will leave you with spare time while
taking the test. Keep a copy of the scrum guide, most of the questions are based entirely or in part,
on that document. Be composed and confident, try to achieve an
average score of 80% on all the practice
tests you take. This achievement of score will make you ready for
the actual test. Spend most of your
time on domains where there are a lot of
questions on scrum team, scrum master, scrum events,
and scrum artifacts. Best of luck, be confident,
and we believe in you. In this video you learned that, you have 90 days to take
